Going to the beach for Winter Break?.......
I think on the beach trip for the winter I'm gona have to stop and get some basic essentials, pick up a new watch, put on some new kicks, and a fresh outfit for my first walk on the beach.
First I'm gona stop at target and get a pack of plain T's these aren't those trashy ones you buy at the beauty store downtown they're nice and soft. Just make sure it fits not big, not tight cool?..ok
Next I'm gona make sure I order some simple khaki shorts a week before I go and it's winter so honestly you can get a pair of these for about $30.00 S&H included. LRG's good with me.
Now for my favorite part of the outfit, the shoes I got my life right with some Nike SB premiums Low cost me about $90.00 with S&H and I got a perfect color for the beach.
Last but not least i copped a Navy/Turquoise G-shock. Matches the kicks and will definitely come in hand for a lot of different outfits. Now maybe ill grab a Marlins snapback, a new case for my blackberry, and hit up the beach with some hypnotiq in my cup n some blueberry haze...Get it right people...Im out

THE INDUSTRY: dating/living/"whatever-you-want-to-call-it" in the industry.

well, well, well. when mac asked me start writing a relationship advice column for his blog twice a week, i figured i could definitely get my carrie bradshaw on. i'm going to be hitting ya'll with a post every monday && friday so you can get your weekly dose && an extra special tid bit for the weekend. before you read any further, there is one thing you must know about [miss dig.]: i tend to think, date, and expect like a man. i have had few "real relationships" [2, if you're counting] and spent most of my high school, college && today years as a single, happy lady that listens and experiences relationships as they come to my girls, and guys. it's through all of their problems, stories, positive and negatives that i learned and shaped my behaviors. && i've always been friends with mostly guys. i like sports, i don't mind a video game, i'm extremely laid back && i almost always agree with the guy. when my girls come to me for advice i lay it out there... and it works. they either get the guy, or feel better about themselves when they don't. && i'm single because i choose to be. [dig.] is my boyfriend, if that helps. i do get what i want though, dont get it twisted :)

so this week i leave you with this:

IN THE INDUSTRY: dating/living/whatever-you-want-to-call-it in the industry.

the industry is music, fashion, photography, movies, -- we are all one. && when you enter the realm of art you are inevitably forced into a world of politics, shows, appearances--you are now in the light... no matter how big or small. there is always a beginning. whether you are guy/or girl in the industry out on the scene or the guy/girl that's involved with someone in the industry there's certain things i've noticed about both:

GIRLS/GUYS that are in the industry-- single, and available: the one thing you have to remember is to just be honest. if all you want is a regular fuck, then tell them that. if you want an open relationship and the rest of your lives isn't talked about then tell them that. if you're just busy && want nothing serious, tell them that. the key is being completely 100 when you're single. WHY LIE? you have nothing to lie about, and really nothing to explain. no matter how raw the truth-- relationships, or wifey will come along when the time is right. in the mean time, you have no one to answer to but yourself.

knowing your limits is the other half of the battle--it's kind of like knowing your liquor limits. how hard do you really want to go? quality over quantity is how you should approach it--don't lose your standards just because it's 'always available', safe sex && privacy are important. people already know you get mad butt, or atleast think you do--you don't have to be all over the place talking about it && you definitely want to make sure that you're other 'person' knows how important it is to keep things discreet...

speaking of which...

GIRLS/GUYS that are dating, following, interested in, labeled a "potential"... someone in the industry-- far and wide as the people closest to them [family, friends, crew] to the people farthest to them [acquaintance's, groupies, haters] the rule of thumb is, "DONT BE A CLING ON" [thank you, alicia] there is always a man in the relationship, as there is always the female. sometime the girl "wears the pants", and vice versa. the secret is to understand that boys will be boys, and girls will be girls. they think differently... and that's just the way it is.perfect example: if you're man is playin video games with his boys and you are mad cause he's not paying attention to you, you're being a selfish bitch. you should be asking him if he wants something to drink... chips, salsa, queso? no, really. you shouldn't even be upset in the first place && a real female knows that it's what boys do... you want to keep him around? play your part && i guarantee when he's ready to quit the single life he'll be calling your number first to wife you up. make it a point to learn && understand the politics of it all. sometimes he/she will have to go out to an event, or do something for the job && you can't be all crazy asking a bunch of unnecessary questions... KNOW YOUR PLACE. until he/she has decided personally to live the committed life you can't change them. so enjoy the person for who they are, not what they are && be honest with your feelings... the first step is accepting the "relationship" for what it is.

something to sleep on...

have you evaluated your situations lately? are you being honest with yourself and the other person, or are you leading them on, confusing and deceiving them? are you being overly obsessive, jealous for no reason-- or crossing boundaries that haven't been earned? make it a point to reflect on how you want your life to be lived && don't stray from getting everything that makes you happy.

i'm out!

Gone For The Weekend....

So i guess i haven't updated my blog since thursday...it's not because i'm purposely trying to be distant from my fans lol i've been feeling kind of gone this weekend. Like i said, i've been grinding with 110 percent of my time recently, and other than work, theres nothing to do in the burgh for somebody 17. Yeah i could get into some clubs and drink at the bar, but it gets old. I'm not hating I'm just searching for something more for the next couple years of my life. I wonder if I'm just imagining the impossible. I mean, what more can a 17 year old really do? Fuck that, I know there are a million oppurtunities waiting for me in the world. I want to travel. Not just to NYC, but to other countries. I won't feel my life is complete until i can say i've seen the world. Hopefully, that happens. I have been in a daze this whole weekend. Number 1, i've jus been super hazed up all weekened lol. But besides that i have spent some time just sitting and letting my mind travel. Like any other vacation, i gotta come back at some point...well...i jus landed

Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm

In my opinion the best show on tv right now:

Me One Takin a verse for my homie Living Proofe

Verse is from Leaders of the New School

Today's Playlist

Here are the jams put together for you to listen to for whatever your doin.

A TIP for ya Life! [Spread The Wealth]

"When I was younger, we were poor and I would literally starve to the point of hallucination. That hunger had me feeling that the Devil had a tight hold on my life. It was ungodly. But Now that I'm well off enough to eat and eat well they tell me gluttony is a sin."
Now if I wasn't the person who I am, always in pursuit of the greater picture in situations, I might feel displaced anger or confusion. This situation tells me one thing, Once you acquire a certain abundance or level of success..we should "eat" until we "quiet our stomach rumblings" or suffice an emptiness or need. After it is cured we must not be greedy, we must help fuel those who are empty. We must feed others needs until they no longer hunger. If we can do that we can save the world.
I leave you with this thought:
"Selflessness is the ultimate progression of our world, Selfishness is the demise of all humanity"

My Fall Outfit.......
When you think of style, and having the best outfit to show up to wherever in, you just gotta think YOU. Not what Wayne's rockin (trust me you wont look good in that) not what you saw on someone else, but what your about....... ME you ask? well its fall so I'm thinking I'm gona lace up some simple Nike SB's then throw on some Dark wash Jeans and get that pre-winter jacket swag on.................

For my Fall jacket I definitely went with 10 DEEP's Paddington plus toggle hoody. It's warm, not too baggy, different, and wont shrink to half size like a footlocker hoody will. Not to mention I got it for just $100.00 + S&H and its easy to find online.
I just wanted to get some simple jeans that wouldn't be too thin for the winter or too expensive for my college life income, so I googled one of my favorite brands for jeans...Artful Dodger, and found The Essential Skinny Jean in raw indigo for only $54.00.
Last but not definitely not least I wanted to get some fresh SB's but not pay over $100.00 so I could still rock some hot sneakers before snow is everywhere.Trust me I'm all over the Tim's for November but while I still can I'm gona have to rock the Nike Blazer high premium SB's for $99.99 + S&H. Now you've got a simple, clean fall outfit and I'm gona just say...This is for the people like me out there so if you see it on here, just google and buy it. There's nothing too out of reach.

Dont Just Listen to Hip Hop: Mayer Hawthorne

This dude is soooo dope. I fuck wit him super heavy! check him out.

My College Essay

I think this is dope! hopefully it helps me get in to Temple! I want to write about something that inspires and defines me, not just something people see as positive. For the past 2 and-a-half years, my life has been devoted to one thing. It’s weird being so young and devoting your life, your future, and your money into one thing. They say it’s a bad idea to put all your eggs in one basket. What moron invented that saying? Is that some sort of nonsense that’s supposed to stop me from following my dreams? I don’t think so. I understand the “safe” way to live your life. Get good grades, go to college, and get a good job. That just never seemed to spark my interest. I’ve always lived in my own world and set my goals higher than I could reach from the position I’m standing in. “Keep pushing forward, don’t get down, and trust yourself,” I tell myself everyday. At the age of 2 I was already playing music. My father had bought me a little piano to bang my hands against. Now, I’m not going to say I was some young Ray Charles, but I definitely did my thing. At the age of 9 I was already writing songs. Not just in the hip hop genre but all different kinds of genres. I was making anything from hip hop to indie folk music. By the age of 11 I could play guitar, piano, drums, and bass. Yeah, I was your everyday one-man band. At 15 I got started by competitive freestyle rapping. A lot of older kids noticed my skill and had me writing and constructing more songs. I started performing at that age and also put together my own mix tape. At the age of 15, nothing was very legit, but as 16 rolled around I started getting very serious. Working everyday, writing as much as my hand could take, I basically ran off music. I started putting all different elements of music into my own to create an original sound. Now at 17, I have become a lot more mature with my career. I don’t aim to just be a performer. I want to expand into all other aspects. I want to have a steady hold on everything from clothing, business ventures, etc. At this point I have a strong team of people around me. Managers, promoters, street team members, graphic designers, DJs, producers, and engineers are all a vital part of my team. I have never met anybody as passionate as I am about what I do. I have lost a great portion of my social life to this dream. I don’t want to be a performer; I want to make a difference in the world. I realized that my voice is through music. In today’s age music is one of the loudest voices there is. More kids listen to what Gucci Mane has to say about wearing jewelry then Barack Obama’s press conference. All I want to do is change the way people see the world, and I believe I have the power to do just that.

Are You a Rapper? You Need Beats?

A lot of rappers hit me up on myspace, facebook, and twitter. They continue to ask me where i get my beats. Well if you want supreme beats hit up my homie big jerm on twitter twitter.com/bigjerm412. Also, ID Labs continues to have premier production. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=917344

Cam'ron vs. Bill O'Reilly (classic footage)

Here is a prime example of how so many people have the wrong view on hip-hop. It is ridiculous how people can put stereotypes on a genre of music that is so diverse. Watch this...it never gets old and this is why Cam is the man.

"The High Life" mixtape coming soon!

Stay Focused

As I get closer to the conclusion of "The High Life" it comes time that I really focus on what I need to do. After all the music is made there is so much more I have to do. The most important thing is that this mixtape makes it everywhere. I made a classic, and it'd be a shame if it didn't reach every hip hop fan's computer. I'm not saying everybody in the world is going to like it, because I have haters jus like any other person doin his thing. I jus want this mixtape to get the credit it deserves. I'm more focused then I've ever been trying to reach my full potential at this point. I jus hope people stop worrying about the fact that I'm white and just listen. Me and my team are making history and I hope yall are here with us at the beginning and not the type to hop on the bandwagon once everybody is listenin already. Be original and make your own decisions. Stay focused.

Kayne is a real dude and a genius.

The Beauty of Travel

So, I been doin some traveling recently. The travel taken to do shows doesn't really do anything for me. That's just work. Going to ohio, going on stage, hittin the after party, then coming home is fun, but it's not traveling. Going to different cities in the world is very enjoyable to me. I haven't been able to go everywhere I want, but that is soon to come. I'm currently at the Amtrak station in Phila. I have no money left, and haven't eaten in 2 days. How is this enjoyable? Lol well after gettin over the hunger, it's cool to just live. There are no limits to wat I can do. I have no engagements no plans jus a whole city and all the time in the world. Walking around here is somethin else...seein all these people and haven't small relationships with everyone u run into. The feeling is unexplainable...I'm starting to really consider moving here next year. I want to jus keep grinding with music but I also want more life to experience. More stories to create that I can convey with music...even if I don't know where I'm going and I don't know where I'm headed...I'm never lost.

A TIP for ya Life!

This will be my next book purchase, Check it out

What I'm Wakin Up To....

Memories Don't Live like People Do...
Some people go there whole lives without accepting the fact that one day,Sad to Say, we will no longer be here. Our loved ones, friends, work buddies, teachers, coaches, have only our legacies to hold onto. We "should" live our lives to leave a "positive" Lasting Memory.
I Believe, and granted its just one mans opinion, that life is about connection with people, connection with real emotions, connection with our TRUE selves.
Some Equate life/success/fulfillment to Money or Assets acquired in their life span. The crazy, and obvious thing is...You CANT take your assets or money when you leave this earth...and people that mattered to you during your life, the ones that truly cared..won't mention your assets, just reminisce about the times you guys shared, whether good or bad.
A lot of people don't get to tell the people that they Love..simply that..That they truly do love them. The Majority of lives lost in this world are sudden. There is no time to go back, No time to tell your girl "my fault for last night babe..i was trippin" or just call your mother, sister, or brother and tell them that you love and miss them.
Even if we Living Righteous in this world any day could be our last. What will you do to leave your positive lasting memory in this world? How will you make a positive difference in someones life? How will you leave a piece of yourself to be instilled in the people you encounter?
We Can Live Forever Through Our Memories....Don't be Forgotten Be Remembered
......They Live Forever!

Strain of the Week: Blueberry

Now as this is my first post it is only right to pay homage to the most memorable stone I have ever encountered. On a summer vacation to NYC I first encountered the infamous blueberry strain which had recently starred in the Ludacris hit single and immediately fell in love. Upon arrival to the amazing city I exited a taxi and approached my brothers Brooklyn apartment when an incredibly deep and potent smell greeted me outside the front door. My heart began to pound and my mind began to race as I pondered the possibilities of what lay behind that door. Upstairs I was introduced to my brothers roommate, his beloved bong and the source of that intoxicating fragrance. The moment my eyes caught sight of those perfectly round unbelievably light green little nuggets I was in heaven and I hadn't even tasted it. I was offered a hit and gladly accepted. "Now be careful Doc, my brother warned me, Jared's shit is really strong." This only excited me even more so I obviously took the biggest hit I could possibly take and exhaled a fog of tangy deliciousness. Both fruity and skunky, with a blissful high that put me on my ass and gave me the giggles, the blueberry was definitely the most potent marijuana to ever cross my path. The nug itself was so covered in crystal that no plant matter was visible. The interior of the bud contained such a copious amount of THC that it appeared water droplets had accumulated everywhere and the stem or lack thereof was so thin it made me wonder how the nug was held together. One-hitter-quitter to say the least. Once I collected myself a half hour later I realized how excited I was for the two weeks ahead of me. That night as Jared prepared to go to bed I asked him if it would at all be possible to spare me a bowl and he gladly obliged. The moment my 15 year old self had been waiting for had finally arrived, some alone time with the sexiest girl in the room. As I broke up the nug into the bowl my fingers became so sticky I became incapable of completing the job much less being able to work a lighter. If your have ever broke up some high grade marijuana you know exactly what I'm talking about. I tossed the rest of the whole nug into the bowl and sparked the lighter with my thumb and pinkie finger. The first hit took me far away as the THC flowed smoothly through my veins and forced my eyes to water and close. I called up Mac to tell him about the wonderful experience I was going through and he followed my journey hit by hit listening to how much higher each inhale took me. I woke up the next morning, still high but not groggy or weighed down, feeling quite energetic. The next two weeks were some of the highest of my life and truly opened my eyes to the potential of chronic marijuana. There was no doubt in my mind that my friends back home needed to experience this so I smuggled a small amount back and smoked it all the day of my arrival, we got so high that my friends mom asked us if we were tripping acid. Rating 10 out of 10, best weed I have ever had to this day.

Don't Just Listen to Hip Hop!

Yeah hip hop is the best genre in the world. But, it is only the best genre because it incorporates every existing genre in the world. I will be constantly throwing up random videos from other styles of music that i feel you should be familiar with and be able to respect! Enjoy!

Smoke Your Cancer Correctly

As most of you may know, i am a cigarette smoker. I know, it's bad for me blah blah blah. Like a lot of you, i was a heavy Newport smoker. I repped Newports hard and thought they were hands down the best cigarette out. Then, i was introduced to American Spirit Menthols. These cigarettes are really the best. Instead of the fiberglass spray that is applied on a newport, these menthol cigarettes have tiny mints in the filter that u can see if u crack the filter open. Besides that, they are additive free and a better all around smoke. Yeah they are a little more expensive, but when it comes to cigarettes, you gotta be smokin the best. *bonus tip* rip off the very tip of you American Spirit Menthol for an ultra smooth experience.

I Love College?

What is it about college that makes people lose their minds? After an array of college shows and the weekends spent up at various colleges i feel i have a little sample of the "college life." Although, i constantly find myself posted up rollin Ls and don't see myself actin a fool, once the alcohol hits...its a wrap lol. I'm at a point in my career where i often question the topic of college. Will i apply and try to get in right out of high school? Will i take a year to grind super hard? Will I keep my life on the "safe route?" I really don't know. But, for now, I'm just doin what makes me happy, and that is making music right from my soul. I feel that as long as i continue to satisfy myself the rest will fall into place. Goodnight everybody, dream of bigger and better things for yourself. The High Life Coming Soon, Mac Miller

Friday Night Drunk Talk

For the first time in awhile i went out and jus had fun. I been workin so much in the lab that i forgot what it's like to just get drunk as fuck and act my age. I'm up at Temple University right now with no work on my mind. It feels good. Don't get me wrong, i still am always in grind mode. But It's nice to just go to a party and get drunk as fuck wit the homies and hoes. I'm bout to spark this L eat some munchies and pass out. I appreciate everybody who showed love to the new jam Pen Game feat. Skyzoo. Shout out to 2dopeboyz.com and Nahright.com. Thats the first time major blogs took notice. It's nice that motherfuckers are finally taking notice. But, it's a shame i need a feature to get noticed. The High Life is going to be a wild ass musical experience for all of you. Be excited. Be safe everybody, Mac Miller

A TIP for ya Life!- [Be Enlightened]

I was reading over Plato's "Allegory of The Cave" again today. http://www.historyguide.org/intellect/allegory.html btw, don't ask why? its just my swag lol It's basically ,in short, a story of Men in a Cave and in the cave its dark and you can only see the shadows of things inside the cave being made from the light outside the cave. None of the Cave Men left the cave with the fear of seeing new things. But there was one brave cave man who decided to leave the cave in search of the unknown. After He left the cave, we was able to see things for what they were and not the Shadows of things he thought he knew. Everything was new and exciting. But He had to tell his friends what he saw...So as he entered the cave again it took his eyes sometime to adjust back to the darkness and he couldn't see things for how they really were any more...So he decided to choose the Life Outside the Cave. Some joined him and Some were left in the darkness.
So the Point of what I am saying is..Be Enlightened. Search for knowledge. Try things you never have or always wanted to. Don't live in the land of not knowing. See things for what they are... and once you get enlightened, stay enlightened!

What You Should Be Aware Of
